2010 Letters About Literature writing contest in Minnesota had a record 1,793 submissions in the contest this year from students across the state of Minnesota. Nearly 70,000 entries were submitted nationwide! A total of 176 letters made it to the state level of judging in Minnesota, 42 of which are in the Level 3 category. [...]

AlBrook held it’s 1st Annual Robofest on March 13th. The seven teams participating took on the challenge of building, programming and competing to create a small VEX robot that could move through a series of obstacles successfully moving some while not touching others. Groups received points accordingly.

This year Tye Thiabault (Gr.5) and Jazmine McKinney (Gr.11) won best of show for AlBrook School. Tye wond for a tempera painting of a bird overlooking a snowy field. Jazmine won for her view of school life with a digital photograph of a locer lock. Congratulations to you both!
